Works as an index center in the vertical position and as a conventional rotary table in the horizontal position. Table is made of high
density Meehanite cast iron with table and base ground to ensure smooth rotation. The critical wear points are hand finished for ultra
precision. The fixed parts of the table are firmly grasped with 2 clamping brakes in opposition, hence deflection is eliminated during
operation. Worm gear is hardened and ground. Adjustable stain chromed handwheel dial reads directly to each minute, vernier reading
to 10 seconds on sizes 8", 10", 12" and 14". Size 16" reads 2 minutes, vernier 20 seconds. One all models, one revolution of dial reads 4
degrees.
